Hm, here in Brazil "[alcoholic beverage] effect" means a economical crisis
in the country to which such drink is related (except if the crisis is in
Argentina, when it "Orloff effect" should be used.
Tequila effect: economical crisis in Mexico
Wine effect: economical crisis in France
etc.
