Is <ch> pronounced /x/ then, or /S/ or something? I'd assume that if /tSEjn/ comes from /kwenja/ then the result of /kwesse/ would be /tSEss/ <cess>. Can affricates undergo spirant mutation? -- Eric Christopherson / *Aiworegs Ghristobhorosyo
