That's up to the Powers that Be Prescribin'. Spelling reform is
a glacial process compared to speech. We still haven't caught up
to the Great Vowel Shift after, what, 500 years? :)

Indeed. At the very least dropping the apostrophe from
"y'all" would spare us from the horrible "ya'll", which I see
far too often. :)
