Interesting idea; but I'm having a bit of a problem trying to wrap my mind around a verb with obligitory perfect aspect. How, for example, would this lang translate the old soul-music classic: "Hold on! I'm coming!" ? Something along the lines of "the coming is done"? But it isn't done! The whole point of the expression is that, at the time of speaking, there is "coming" and "hold on" because the coming is not finished and can be expected to continue on into an unspecified future. IOW, an imperfect action! Dan Sulani ------------------------------------------- likehsna rtem zuv tikuhnuh auag inuvuz vaka'a. A word is an awesome thing.
