# Reading orbilat.com, i found out that the other Romance languages *except*
# Spanish use the definite articles with the posessive pronouns, agreeing
# with the gender of the posessed noun. So, of course i have to add this
# feature to Montreiano (so sue me, i got busy and hand't decided this small
# detail :))
#
Not that it's entirely relevant, but in my very casual portuguese, the
definite article is pretty much only realized with the posessive
when it attaches to prepositions thus, i would say:
meu bairro é bonito. my neighborhood is pretty. no definite art.
tou no meu bairro. i am in my neighborhood. def art.
vou pro meu bairro. i'm going to my neighborhood. def art.
no = em + o (in the)
pro = para + o (to the)
(this is where the native portuguese speakers can tell me i'm a hick :)
just thought it might be something intresting to incorporate into a
language...
