Excellent! The ? was, I think, an ill-considered addition by
French-speakers, "principalmen" is much better than "principue",
unless I got that one wrong too.

Anyway, it's cheating for me to bring an auxlang in here.
This is from an old manual for Occidental I'm trying to translate
from French. It just happened to be open to that spot at that moment.
