This topic doesn't seem to be too flame-prone and the Crown rule
mainly means that talking about politics with strong biases and
advocacy (XY is a bad party but YX is the best there is) is banned
here. There is nothing wrong with off-topic stuff as long as no
insults, aggressive advocacy or flaming takes place.
Plus, this is about language. :-)
In fact, I also think a link to a credible news story about that new
Georgia law would be interesting.
