Well, before launching any wild ideas, I should first re-read carefully what
exactly happened in Ill Bethisad during World War I. To be honest, I know quite
little about it. I know that the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy existed, but I have
(for example) no idea what the situation was like in Germany; all I know is
that there are two Germanies (according to the currency site).
In general, I would say that the great turning point in Russian history is
1917, and not 1905. Plenty of possibilities. I'll think about the matter and
post tomorrow, because it's really getting late here...
