I also forgot another thing about stress in Saalangal.

Whenever roots/plain nouns are being modified, the stress is always kept
within the root to make sure it is understood what the root is. So, while
on bare roots the stress is on the penult or last syllable, in a root it
can be on the third syllable, fourth syllable, etc.

For example, i'll use the word for bath (lígo) (since it has the stress on
the penult) and modify it various ways so you can see what I mean.

lígo - bath - penult
lígoan - to bathe - first syllable
lilígoan - bathed - second syllable
lígoen'an - to bathe oneself - first syllable

So, in Saalangal, stress stays on the root, and does not shift to the
penult as it would if I had a regular stress. Which is partly why I always
include the accents when I write Saalangal words here :).
