How so? They were conquered at the same time by the same berber army with Arab captains. And only Barcelona was freed from Arab rule (but not influence) at an early date. The other Catalan speaking lands were freed in the Reconquista at approximately the same rate as the Castilian and Protuguese lands. Adam
