Oh what a perfect little phrase to translate into draqa, a people VERY
involved in the Dreamworld:

"The Dreamworld _is_ an interesting place."

ia haeso c'skeacbal: /'ia h&E:. s'o. tSs. keatS. bal/

                        ' = high tone vowel     . = syllable boundary

ia
[EVID: personal subjective experience]

haeso -c'- skeac -bal
Interesting [REF:association] SleepingDream [SMN:state of mind]

----------------

Syntactically (P - predicate, R - relator, A - argument):

[P: ia] [A: haeso c'skeacbal]
        [P: haeso] [R: c'] [A: skeacbal]

-----------------

Notes: 'haeso' actually means the harmonizing of extreme creative forces,
or the balancing of different ideational "realms" in draqa worldview.
Basically, the idea is of an unusual juxtapositioning of creative
elements, which becomes glossed as "interesting, cool ,surreal, bizarrely
individual, weird, innovative, energized, beautiful".

'-bal' is a highly productive draqa particle which comes from the root
'bal' (mind). To give examples in English, one could be AT dream-mind,
waiting-mind, pleasure-mind, bus-riding-mind, whatever.

'skeac' is a sleeping dream as opposed to a waking dream. draqa is very
"mind function" oriented - so far almost 25% of vocab describes emotions,
states of mind, altered conciousness, etc ... almost 300 different terms!

As for dreaming, like a few of y'all I dream compositions, pop-tunes, etc.
Rarely remember much but occasionally grab a snippet or two. I dream in
VIVID color, sound, touch, taste and feel - I mean, like, it's more
realistic than life itself if that's possible, except alot of weird things
happen - and physics, well... Too many times, dreams come true - so now I
keep a notebook, and they still do... No conlangs, though, but I'll
definitely read a text in draqa 3 times before i crash tonight per
Chollie's sugg.

a haeso,
.yasmin.
