OK, let's stop here. Just one point: I of course don't
criticize softwares because they were made by
anglophones. That's your idea.
I just wished you guys paid a visit in an office from
time to time with a chronometer at hand, and would
measure the time spent on real work, and the time lost
on hardware, software, network and documentation
problems. But if you think this problem does not
exist, OK. It just happens not to be my opinion. I
don't think it's forbidden to think so. My idea is
that pointing the problems allows to think about them,
and solve them if possible. Arguing that they do not
exist will never help anybody. This is called "esprit
critique" in French.
You're right, the sentence: "If they are modern good
tools, why weren't they included in the package ?"
makes no sense. I often type "they" instead of
"there". So one should read: "If there are...". My
mistake. How about your fluency in French ?
I don't want to remove Bush nor Chirac, I don't give a
damn about them. I just say that the argument
"majority is always right" is not an argument. You
seem to have the same problem understanding arguments
that I have managing with software. Just like Ray
Brown has problems understanding that my sig is
humoristic, and that I like it because it refers to
"Frogs". Every one has his own understanding problems.
Anyway, I'll have a week-end off, so you'll get rid of
me for a while. I don't think I'll take Flanagan's
work with me, even if I still have 800 pages of it to
read and understand. (BTW, I think that book is a good
one, interesting and well written for a tutorial).
Have a nice week-end.
