OK, (with a slight bow to the KJV) Kash:
ombi deyus sambat yasisa hindayeni, ne yalalu anañi mesani, vara ta catakale
nila yunoni re ne vacanjan, mowa-mowani nile yaleto angayi amakrale.
because God so.much 3s-love world/dat-his/the, 3s/dat 3s-offer child/acc-his
only, so.that not cease.to.be those all-of.them REL 3s/dat believe.in,
but.rather 3pl/dat there.is-fut life eternal
As usual, difficult to translate the Christian concept of God, so we
borrowed.
The use of -ni on hinda 'world' makes for a nice double meaning, I think--
either his... or the....
_lalu_ nowadays means simply 'offer'; formerly it referred to "offer (a gift
or sacrifice, to the Spirits)"
