As far as I'm concerned Shoebox is amazing. The only thing it lacks is support for unicode. Once you learn it, it is capable of creating an English-(Language) and vice versa dictionary for you. There's features to attempt interlinearization of translations too, I think. Since I heard about it, what a month ago? --- I've liked it since and have been using it. Pretty soon I'll be starting a database for Tit'xka.
