If you have Excel and Word, I pressume you also have Access, right?
I use Access databases for my dictionaries. It's not a linguistic
program but it's quite powerful and provides a good standard. You
can have separate tables (one for words, one for morphemes, and one
for the relationships between them). You can also export the tables
easily to quite a lot of formats, index it, and make queries from
outside (with Visual Basic programs for example).
