So the first one might be said by someone who's emphasizing that s/he
loves the beloved too, don't look at that other guy/gal/other over there,
and the second by the star-struck lover or suave seducer?  :-)  (Take
made-up examples with grain of salt.)

Thanks for the clarification.  Those are neat distinctions to have.
