Now, this is just confusing, since the word "love" has so many shades of meaning in English. I have to assume we're working with a romantic context here: Vaior: Mero va san. mer-o va sa-n love-PRES 1sg 2sg-ACC. Now, this is a friendly, if bland, assertion to make, given the chance to say this: Mero va essan. mer-o va essa-n love-PRES 1sg 2sg=intimate-ACC. using the intimate form of the word "you." Finally, for someone totally enthralled with a fondness for the dramatic: Mero au innahith essan. where "au innahith" means something like "this pathetic one." Of course, if you're talking to Mom, all bets are off: you need a new verb and you can skip the "essa" variety of 2sg pronoun. :) ===== wm - unix geek, gastronome, oenophile, linguaholic maker of techno (www.mp3.com/inorganicname) and fiendishly complex languages (www.execpc.com/~wsannis/vaior) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
