Where a word has an explicit singular ending, I cringe at attaching an
English plural suffix to it. But for Italian I'll make an exception:
-os -as -es are legitimate Romance plurals, so we can say it's an
obscure dialect of Italian.

Or you could pass it off as the corresponding Spanish word :) I made
the comment about using Italian plurals in English because as my
fingers were just about to type "pastas" I decided to remain a little
more conservative by writing "pasta" :) The Italian plural would
be "paste" I believe.
