WELL... I don't have Linux, so this might not be helpful, but to any
Windows people out there... I Just started converting all of my
Wordlist/lexicon lists to MS Access format. I have six Columns,
arranged much like this
ID Nekilot English Irreg Type Notes
8 monto live, dwell No v dative means
live in(colloq, to live in a house
I often find myself putting extensive notes into the notes category.
To keep the database up to date, what I do is I write down all the words
I invent, or derive on paper. And say, at the end of the week, or
month, I add them all, and print out the new listing. Access makes this
particularly easy.

Well I use the Linguist's Shoebox when I can, but its inability to
handle Unicode frustrates.
Lately I've taken to just writing everything up in HTML.
