Sort of. The imperfect tense is identical to the present, only it has an
initial augment: pres. dercas "you look" and imp. edercas "you were
looking". Not only that the injunctive is the aorist without the augment:
aor. esenéremos "we aged" and inj. senéremos "we age". The augment does not
cause intervocalic rhotacisation.
The injunctive is only used in the indicative mood, it expresses "timeless
truths", i.e. senéremos "we always age, and there's absolutely nothing to be
done about it"- it's quite difficult to translate into English.
Aredos as spoken by the populace generally ignores many of these forms, the
perfect was rarely used in speech, frex, nor was the dual.
