For my birthdays are just a day you are special, not because there is any spiritual thing involved but because is just a day people will think on you, and there is an excuse to have fun. Well. I remember that the two less special birthdays I had where when I became 18 and 21. 18 is the legal adulthood in Colombia, while 21 has an special connotation as traditional adulthood. When I became 18 I was in Sweden with my mother. My father was in Chile and all my family, relatives and school friends were in Colombia. Next day we were comming to Colombia for vacations and everithing was quite. If I remember correctly that day snowed in the evening, so there was nothing special in that 29th November, but the white goodbye Stockholm gave me next morning. When I became 21, I was back in Colombia, and I had work to do for next day at college. Quite a big piece of work, so I spend the whole afternoon and evening working with my companions. -- Carlos Th
