Nope. When I do that I get /s/ (voiceless alveolar fricative) or /l-/ (voiceless alveolar lateral fricative).

So is mine, and I had two years of speech therapy as a child to learn the trick with the tongue. Note: *only* for that, half an hour a week for two school years when I was seven and eight. It never worked. Looking back, I think the class teacher had to find fault with me for *something*, and that's what she picked on.
