Great idea! I was nomail for a while so I missed it. This is also a
good exercise for that infamous Czech palatal rhotic trill (r-caron),
where you get an alveolar trill going then progress toward a palatal
approximant. It's only vaguely like [rZ], which many compare the sound
to.
Anyway, these are exercises you can do in the car on the way to work in
the morning.
