True. The weapon used by Sailor Saturn is supposed to look like the thing used by Death itself (what is it? We call it 'la faux de la mort' in French). But it is called sairento gureivu 'Silent Glaive', the Glaive of Silence. And Sailor Saturn is also called the sairento meshia 'Silent Messiah', the Messiah of Silence. Anyway, I could give you all the attacks and transformations phrases (I know them by heart), but that would be boring. I will just add one thing: I am myself writing a story (that I publish on the WWW - in French only right now -) using entirely different characters but with the same system as Sailor Moon (now you know why I don't conlang that much those last few weeks :) ). It's called Rainbow Fighters, and even if I have all the transformations and attaks in French, I made once a translation of them in "Japlish", just for fun, and I managed to come with phrases as strange as those found in Sailor Moon. Here are a few, try to guess: reenboo chaamu meeku appu! reenboo ribonzu! reenbo uebbu akushon! reddo chaamu meeku appu! faya booru! guriin chaamu meeku appu! uindo bariiru! buruu chaamu meeku appu! supaakuringu suturiimu! eeroo chaamu meeku appu! raito akushon! Those were the last ones, will you guess them? :) Christophe Grandsire |Sela Jemufan Atlinan C.G.
