I must confess I know a couple of songs of the anime... and
yes, they're full of English. When you see katakana you have
to begin guessing, like

    purisumu kurisutaru akushoon   'prism crystal action'
    mirakuru romansu               'miracle romance'

In a song of the Sailor Star series you have:

seeraa sumairu    'sailor smile'
seeraa uingu      'sailor wing'
seeraa eeru       'sailor yell' (!)
seeraa sutaa      'sailor star'
sutenshiru no tenshi no e  'stenciled picture of an angel'
daaku na koroseumu    'dark coliseum'
himitsu no kisu       'secret kiss'

And I finally found out what MOSPEADA means: "Military Operation
Soldier Protection Emergency Aviation Drive Aut" (what does "aut"
mean???). The MOSPEADA was used in Robotech, 3rd generation, but
were better known as "Cyclone". Robotech also had the famous SDF-1
(Super Dimensional [!] Fortress 1).
