Sorry, sorry. It has nothing to do with machismo; I just find that age and
perspective tends to smooth the emotional rollercoaster somewhat. Maybe
it's just that Jeff only bothers to blog at the peaks and valleys, and the
way it runs together when you read it all at once caused me to perceive it
as extra-angsty. I apologize for the characterization.
