However - no offense of course, Jeff - he's been rather touchy lately
due to various stressors I don't think it's appropriate to discuss
the details of here, and my guess would be that he took some offhand
remark (or lack thereof) very personally. (And not that there was any
intentional malice on the part of others - even though we are talking
about the ZBB and that's happened before, it's been pretty flame-free
lately.)

So where I doubt that your #s 1 & 2 are accurate, your #3 probably is,
at least for now.
