I mostly lurk too, but occasionally find threads that are worth
putting my $.02 into. My interest in conlanging fluctuates. I'll
be completely immersed for a while, then burn out and take a
break, but eventually it sucks me right back in. Sometimes it's
no so much a break from conlanging that's needed, but a break from
a particular project. I've been driving myself crazy with my
loglang lately. I have a pretty good idea how I want to structure
it, but I'd like to base the vocabulary on known phonosemantic
tendencies (if there really are any), but finding data on that is
coming up mostly empty. Lot's of talk about it, with arguments
for and against and occasional examples but no details except for
things that are specific to a particular language or group. I got
tired of looking, so that's then I started writing the scripts for
the Omniglossa site which turned out to take less time than I
thought.
