Well, the avocado is technically a fruit... The Dutch make a liqueur out of
them, called Advocaat. Seen it, never tried it. (I'm sorry, it's thick and
yellow and looks like pus). The Indonesians put sugar on their avocados.
And they laughed at me when I told them Americans put milk and sugar on
bananas!
I have a magnificent ice-cream recipe (T-day and Xmas, old family tradition)
which I'll hunt up. Not for the cholesterol-challenged.
I've heard of that garlic festival--- Oroville???
