Yet, "two mice" certainly doesn't sound weird to me. I once had pet
mice, and never once thought it odd to say "two mice". I tend to think
of "mouse" in the computer term as merely homophonous with "mouse" in
the biological sense, with no more connection between them than the two
sense of "bat".
Yes, I know that "mouse" in the computer sense was named after "mouse"
in the biological sense, I just can't see the connection. :-)
