FWIW, in one of my langs, which is as yet unnamed, I have the moods
indicative, imperative, subjunctive, negative, and modal. Modal is used
(obviously) when there is also a modal present to modify the verb, and
modal is used on both modal and verb, created a double conjugation
thingy and lots of redundancy. But I thought negative would also be a
really fun and maybe even unusual mood to have. I like having unusual
ways of representing the negative, for example in Nevokányi the negative
is a regular verb (like in Finnish) which is conjugated and behaves like
all other verbs.
