I didnt think of this, but I think it may be a nice feature. I'm thinking
perhaps it would only show up in the common speech, not in the formal
standard language (they need to be somewhat conservative linguistically).
Taking off on that idea:

Montrei - formal
Montreitaruc - informal

* Rumsien and Ohlone in general seems to have a kind of Meso-American feel
to it (well, not too surprising since there are Penutian Languages down
that way).

Oy, this was a mistake I didnt catch. The proper Montreianization is:

Chachaquíamachan. But: words from other languages with established
romanizations keep the original orthography:

Kalamondin - Kalamondin not Calamondin. (pronunciation will be different.
I decided that g before i or e is /Z/, for instance, where in Spanish it's
either /x/ or /h/.
