Which excludes me, as I went to a U.S. public school. Although
that's apparently not a given; it boggles my mind that 30 years
ago there were US public schools that had students reciting the
Lord's Prayer! Hello? Separation of church and state? Anyone?
Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Even in church (Presbyterian) we didn't sing it, though. We sang
the Doxology ("Praise God from whom all blessings flow . . .") and the
Gloria Patri (in English, despite using the Latin title), but the
Lord's Prayer was simply spoken.
