Here are some plausible changes.
Palatalise consonants before i.
[pi]->[fi], [ti]->[Si], [ki]->[tS)i] etc.
Voice unvoiced consonants before u.
Drop unstressed vowels when the sonority of the following consonant is
greater than that of the preceeding one.
