Well, I could translate that, but it wouldn't be as funny to the Kassi. They have no social or legal concept of fatherhood. For that matter, I haven't worked out noble ranks and the like, but I'll use _noblewoman_ (tisafinisni "Highborn") Ilai! Launitassi tisafinisni uadazlasuv, ku piasitassi fil nlannani! Ilai! Launi -tas -ki ti-safi-nisni ua-dazlasu -v ku Stars! Be.loc-he/she-NonPunct G1-birth-high G6-pregnancy-loc and piasi-tas -ki fil n-lannani know -he/she-NonPunct not G2-father "Stars! The noblewoman is pregnant and the father is not known!" Of course, the Kassi would ask "Why should he be?" :-) Incidentally, the word _uadazlasu_ "pregnancy" originally meant "blessing", the related verb _dazlasfli_ still means "to bless" -- "There's no such thing as 'cool'. Everyone's just a big dork or nerd, you just have to find people who are dorky the same way you are." - overheard ICQ: 18656696 AIM Screen-Name: NikTaylor42
