Guys, it was just an example! Nobody claimed that "to the north" was
used instead of "to my right" universally!
All Josh meant is that a local Madagascan would not describe someone
as being "to their right"; they would instead use whichever compass
direction corresponds to their right at that point in time - FOR
EXAMPLE, "to the north".
Yeesh. For a bunch of linguistically oriented folks y'all can be
dense at the interpretation of language sometimes. :)
