I hope not to have been offensive, and about your answer, I believe you! These two cultures are so different we can't pretend to completely understand each other's musical traditions ... and we can't correct our ears in order to make them understand it better : ) It's simple: if I've listened Bach since I was in the womb of my mother, I surely won't be good with qin music and vice versa.
