I count in decimal, personally. I dislike fractions.
But I should point out that the ancient Babylonians' written
number system was base-60, due to the large number of integer
fractors. Base-12 is therefore easy to imagine - if you drop
the requirement that 5 be a factor, it's otherwise as good as 60,
and a lot more tractable.
