Possibly. But I would read "Hogard" as most probably "hog+ward" (as in "Stewart" < sty-ward. This "ward" is of course "guard", "keeper", not the directional suffix. -- John Cowan jcowan@reutershealth.com I am a member of a civilization. --David Brin
