Sorry if I'm butting in here. But "än" can't be used at all.
I don't know why really. Possibly at the end of the sentence,
but that sounds a bit strange, at least to my ears.
"Fortfarande" isn't heavy at all. It's the normal word
to use nowadays. A newer word for "förstår" is "fattar".
Similar to English "get". Its original meaning is "to grip",
(and it's still used in that meaning).
