That *you* feel a difference by no means says it's universal. Your feelings
are what they are: *yours*. Don't try to deduce general rules from them
without backing them with more data than just your own feelings.

Why? As you said, those are your feelings only. I personally don't feel
they are different, except for the fact that one pair is just about
directions with myself as referent and the second is a fundamental
philosophical concept. But that doesn't mean they are different kinds of
pairs. The simple fact that we disagree should point out that you shouldn't
try too hard to find a deep linguistic meaning under your feelings.
