My dictionary has "blockade", "stoppage" for _heisoku_. Is that some
specialized meaning in martial arts perhaps? Heisoku is written with
kanji meaning "Close, shut, confine, end" and something that appears to
be non-Joyo. "Teisoku" it defines as "an established rule; a law",
written with kanji meaning "fixed, regular, constant" and "rule"
Are you sure you're remembering the words correctly?
