>You'd be amazed how many third year residents mix up simple things like
"lateral" and "medial". I mix them up sometimes, but I'm pretty good with it. No, I'm not a med student; I'm doing my mother's anatomy labs. You can't blame these problems on English! Blame Latin and Ancient Greek! Speaking of being confused, I did a fudo dachi when my instructor told me to do heisoku dachi. I *knew* them, I knew the names, my mind betrayed me. ObLanguage: Are Japanese heisoku and teisoku related? (Probably, but perhaps not. After all, English has but and butt and putt, foot and put, etc.) Just to remind anyone who could tell me, heisoku means attention and teisoku means the sole of the foot. Laimes, Wright.
