It was a shortcut for "data biased in order to fit the anti-homosexual or
pro-homosexual agenda of the person using those data". I thought it was
clear enough seen the context, especially since data, as you rightly said,
*cannot* have an opinion by itself :))) . I thought this kind of shortcut
transfers was understandable. I use them all the time.
