The main point here is, I think, something which has been
discussed a few days ago -- storage vs. computation. My
brain has no trouble remembering /O/ and associating it
with the sound and the IPA character. But /;c/ requires
that I parse it into an rotation operator <;> and then
apply it to the visual image of <c> and then find the
image of a rotated <c> and couple it to the IPA symbol.
I agree that some ASCII symbols could've been chosen better,
but I prefer /D&ts Od/ to /-d.aets ;cd/.
