Did you know it before this thread?

The bare English sense is "Over all the mountain tops/it is peaceful/
in all the treetops/you feel/scarcely a breath/the (little) birds are
silent in the forest/just wait, soon/you too will rest".  It is
written throughout in the 2nd person intimate.

I found this French translation, which strikes me as overblown for
the original:

Sur les cimes des monts

Sur les cimes des monts
La-haut tout est tranquille.
Au sein des bois profonds
L'ombre dort immobile.
Les oixeaux sont muets
Dans les bosquets...
Attends, et poir toi-meme
Bientot viendra la paix
Supreme!
