Looks interesting, and a nice beginning. <nitpick> :-) without interlinear glossing, some of the example sentences/phrases are a little difficult to puzzle out. I'm sure this will be corrected as you go along. Re the glottal stop-- apostrophe is OK, "q" would be OK too. Since it's only intervocalic, another convention from old Dutch/Indonesianist days that might work is the dieresis, so ...aä... means [a?a]. (I've also seen e.g. manä [man?a]).....provided you don't object to diacritics.
