Apparently my conpeople never look up. I don't even have words for
constellations that are the same as the traditional ones. I am not
even entirely sure any of my languages has had a word for
"constellation" (although it is probably safe to say that it would
have been a compound word in ea-luna. "star picture" or some such.)
This is one of the things I love about this hobby. It is as much or as
little as you want to make of it; it can be a little linguistic
sketching, or it can turn into a full-on multidisciplinary
extravaganza. This is another thing that astounds me-- how much many
of you know about so many different things.
Hmmmm... I may have to go look at stars. I don't know what the stars
in the Ianea sky would look like, but I can imagine what transplants
to our world would see in our sky.
