Re: Vocab #4

I set myself the task of answering the vocabulary exercise within a week
(I love Sluggy Freelance!), but I wanted to include Tekem (the all-noun,
trigger-inspired language I sketched last May) and found it took days on
end just to re-comprehend how the language worked!

Once I finally got Tekem loaded back into my brain, I was only able to
squeeze one sentence out of it:

        kesesoskaSkeleGeSko - ompaspepos.

This means "the ferret likes dancing".

ompaspepos: ferret
kesesoskas: dancing
-kele: a liking for X
kesesoskaSkele: a liking for dancing
-kes: patient role marker
-ko: changes role marker into trigger. So -keSko is the trigger that
marks the focussed (unmarked) noun as the patient.

So ompaspepos ("ferret") is the patient (experiencer) of kesesoskaSkele
("a liking for dancing").

None of the other sentences was doable for one reason or another - I need
relative clauses! And to figure out how to indicate possession.

Now to work on my less exotic languages.
