Except that the PULMonary system refers exclusively to the lungs, the
trachee
(English word unknown... :( ), the larynx, etc... the air-breathing
system
(from Latin pulmo, pulmonis, which gave in French poumon: lung). Heart,
veins,
arteries, etc... are referred to as the blood system in English, simply
(and in
French it's "système sanguin"), or at least IIRC.

Trachea in English (or actually Greek, right?).
It's not the blood system in English, however; it's the circulatory
system. The pulmonary system overlaps a bit, but then, they all do.

ObConlang (len Sturnan)
Hesker: blood outside a body
Karha: blood inside a body
Kruhi: bloody, horrible (used of hesker, but sharing its modern root with
hesker)
These words come from the same basic root, but hesker branched off much
earlier than the other two.
